At RehoTec, we believe that education is the cornerstone of a thriving community. Founded in January 2021 by Ferrand Van Wyk, our mission is simple: to offer hope and opportunity through skills development, especially in a town where such opportunities are limited.
We are Rehoboth’s first dedicated vocational training centre, proudly offering a holistic and practical approach to learning that equips individuals with the skills and confidence to actively participate in the economy.

Our Story

Rehoboth Institute of Technology (RehoTec) was established in January 2021 by visionary founder Ferrand Van Wyk. Witnessing the challenges of unemployment and limited educational opportunities in Rehoboth, he saw a need to create a space where the people of this community could gain practical skills and confidence for a better future.

To be a proactive and progressive holistic educational institute which identifies and addresses the changing developmental needs of people by assuming the role as a catalyst for empowering transformational change toward self-awareness and economic participation.
To provide an alternative, state-of-the-art educational and living environment for people using educational development protocols and transformative processes, supportive of the community’s socio-economic structure, resulting in productive adults who contribute to society.
